In daily software development, do you often encounter situations where you receive an offline API documentation or need to debug an online third-party API? Typically, we have to copy and paste the API URLs, request parameters, and so on into debugging tools one by one, a process that is both time-consuming and tedious.

To address this issue, EchoAPI has designed the "AI Parsing Import" feature, which utilizes artificial intelligence technology to automatically parse various formats of API documentation and quickly import them into EchoAPI.

2. Import Methods

Importing using AI parsing is straightforward, In addition to traditional cURL import methods, we can also import requests through plain text, request code (such as GO, .Net, Java, etc.), and other formats.as follows:

  • Automatic Text Recognition/Import: Copy text content from the API documentation page (the more information provided, the more accurate the parsing), paste it into the input box, select “Auto” or “Text” mode, and click to import.
  • Request Code Import: Directly copy the request code from the page and paste it into the input box to complete the import.
  • cURL Import: API requests can also be imported using cURL commands.
