Chrome Extension Overview
This tool assists users in swiftly capturing interface data from web pages and synchronizing it with the EchoAPI platform. It supports capturing, sending, and debugging interfaces, facilitating efficient development and testing.
System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS.
- Software Environment: Latest version of Google Chrome installed.
- Internet Connection: Stable internet connection required.
Extension Installation
- Open Google Chrome and visit the Chrome Web Store
- Search for the "EchoAPI Interceptor" plugin
- Select the plugin and click the "Add to Chrome" button in the upper right corner
- Click "Add Extension" to confirm the installation
Extension Configuration
On first use, click "Settings" to configure the whitelist for capturing specific interface requests (by default, all data will be captured if the whitelist is left empty) and set the connection token used to synchronize the captured data with the EchoAPI App.
Interface Description
- “Start Capturing Interfaces” button: Default is off; click to start capturing web page interfaces.
- ”Clear“ button: Clears the current captured interface list.
- "Sync to EchoAPI" button: Synchronizes captured interface data with the EchoAPI App.
- ”Search“ button: Search for interfaces based on the input interface information.
- "Settings" button: Access the configuration interface, including the capture interface whitelist and synchronization settings for EchoAPI.
- “Skin” button: Switch up your game skins and personalize your workspace with ease!
- "Roadmap" button: Check out our product development plans and see what's in store!
- "Help docs" button: View detailed usage instructions and FAQs.
- "Contact Us" button: Click to copy the official email address or send an email directly if you have any questions.
- “Send” button: Test the captured interfaces.
- "AI Banter": Analyze API data with a single click—debugging made fun and easy!
- ”What is EchoAPI App?“ button: Redirects to the EchoAPI official website.
- “Sign in to EchoAPI” button: Log in to your EchoAPI account.
Using EchoAPI Interceptor
01. Start Capturing Interfaces
Click the 'Start Capturing' button to begin capturing data. The captured data will be displayed in the interface list.
List Categorization Rule: Different domains captured are grouped into the same folder, with the folder containing the interface data for that domain.
02. Clear Capture List
- Click the 'Clear Capture List' button to clear all data from the list.
03. Sync Interfaces to EchoAPI App Platform
- Ensure there is interface data in the list.
- Ensure you have logged into EchoAPI or have filled in a valid token (set in Settings-Connect Token).
- Click the 'Sync to EchoAPI' button, select the save location, and choose the interface data to synchronize. Upon completion, the data will be synced to the EchoAPI App platform.
- After synchronization, refresh the top right corner of the EchoAPI App, and the interfaces will be displayed.
04. Search for Interfaces
- Enter keywords in the 'Search Box' to display matching results in the list.
05. Settings
Request Whitelist:
- Click the "Settings" button and select "Request Whitelist."
- Rule settings: Requests that do not match any URL will be filtered out. (e.g., *.echoapi.*)Connection Token:
- Click the "Settings" button and select "Connection Token."
- Enter the Token or click the "Get Token" button, log in to the EchoAPI App account to obtain the token.
- Acquisition rules: Go to EchoAPI App > Project Settings > Open API > Create or click the 'Get Token' button and log in to your EchoAPI account.
06. Interface Sending and Debugging
- Select an interface from the list and click the "Send" button to execute the request
- The interface details will then display the request and response data, facilitating debugging.
07. AI Banter & Fun Skins
AI Banter: After sending, you'll see the AI Banter button. Click it to trigger an instant AI analysis.
Emoji Reactions: Hit “Like” or “Bad” to send your favorite reaction emojis!
Copy Link: Click “Copy Link” to grab the link, then paste it into your browser to open it up.
Download Analysis: Click “Download” to save the AI analysis image to your device.
Share on Twitter/LinkedIn: Click “Twitter”/“LinkedIn” to spread your insights with friends and enjoy a good laugh together!
Fun Skins:
- Switch Default Skin: Click “More-Skin-default skin” to switch to the default skin.
- Change Game Skin: Click “More-Skin-game skin” again to swap to a different game skin.
08. Sign in to EchoAPI
- Redirects to the login window; log in to your EchoAPI account.
Q&A Common Issues
- No data during capture: Check if the target address is valid and contains capturable interfaces.
- Slow capture speed: Narrow the capture scope or check the internet connection.
