How the Plan Takes Effect

Each plan takes effect for the entire team.

Regarding seats: Billing is based on the number of seats assigned to your team. The Starter plan (free) supports up to 8 seats in the team, and no more seats can be added after reaching 8. The Plus and Business plans do not limit the number of members and can be scaled indefinitely, with a fee applied for each additional seat.

After you subscribe to a plan for your team, you can refresh the page, and the team will be marked to inform you of the current team plan package.

Subscription Plans

If your team is currently on the Starter plan, you can upgrade the team by subscribing to a plan.

Step 1: Select the plan you want to upgrade to and click 'Subscribe' to proceed to the order confirmation page.

Step 2: Confirm the number of seats When upgrading, we automatically calculate the number of seats based on your current team size. If you do not wish to purchase that many seats, you will need to remove members first (How to remove members. You can also choose to purchase additional seats.

  • Monthly payment: Calculated based on the calendar month and defaults to auto-renewal.
  • Annual payment: Calculated by the calendar year, with auto-renewal as the default. Annual plans include a full refund option within 7 days.

Step 3:Click Pay to complete the transaction. Once the payment is processed, refresh the page to view the updated information.

Purchase Seats

If your team is on the Plus or Business plan, you can invite additional members by purchasing more seats.(How to invite team members)

Step 1: Click to add more seats You will be directed to the order confirmation page.

Step 2: Select the number of seats to add The total cost will be automatically calculated proportionally. When the next billing cycle renews, the additional seats will be included in your total.

Step 3: Click Pay to make the payment. After the payment is completed, you can refresh the page to view.

Proportional Pricing for Plan Adjustments Changes to your subscription plan’s seat count will be charged proportionally. For example, if you originally subscribed to 1 seat for $10 per month and decide to upgrade to 2 seats (which cost $20 per month) halfway through the billing cycle, you would only pay an additional $5. This is calculated by deducting $5 for the unused time on the original plan and adding $10 for the remaining time on the new plan.

Upgrade Plan

If your team is currently on the Plus plan and wants to experience more features, you can choose to upgrade to the Business plan. Just pay the difference proportionally.

Step 1: Click Upgrade to navigate to the order confirmation page.

Step 2: Click Pay to complete the transaction. Once the payment is processed, refresh the page to see the updated plan.

Upgrading the plan will be charged proportionally. If you upgrade from a $10 per month plan to a $20 per month plan halfway through the billing cycle, you would be charged an additional $5. The unused portion of the original plan deducts $5, while the new plan adds $10 for the remainder of the cycle.

View Payment Records

Any team member can upgrade the team by paying for the plan. You can view payment records, including billing and receipt information, on the team information page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team at support@echoapi.com.

Team administrators will always receive billing emails.

Cancel the Plan

By default, subscription plans auto-renew. We will notify team administrators and purchasers by email 7 days before the next payment date (30 days in advance for annual payments). You can cancel at any time or contact us to cancel (support@echoapi.com).

After canceling auto-renewal, you can continue to use the current subscription plan until the next billing date, at which point it will automatically downgrade to the Starter plan.

How to Handle Excess Features After Cancellation

If your plan expires without renewal, it will automatically downgrade to the Starter plan. You’ll retain access to all Starter plan features, but resources exceeding the plan’s limits will be restricted.

Seat Limits

If the number of team members exceeds the seat limit after downgrading, you will no longer be able to manage members, such as inviting them to projects or adjusting permissions. You can resolve this by either removing members or upgrading to a higher plan to purchase additional seats.

Number of Projects

If the number of projects exceeds the limit of your downgraded plan, the most recently created project will be locked. While you can still view the project, editing will be disabled. To regain full access, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher plan.
